He can declare a state of emergency or start a war and stay in office like FDR.
Barrett would not rule out a 3rd term like FDR depending on the circumstance.
FDR was elected to his 3rd term in 1940, so no he did not start a war or declare a state of emergency to stay in office.
He was able to do so because the 22nd Amendment, which limits Presidents to 2 terms was not ratified until 7 years after his death, so no SCOTUS involvement or emergency powers as you describe occurred. He was elected to a fourth term in 1944 with 53% of the vote and 432 electoral college votes. Again without any SCOTUS interference or emergency powers.
That is not to say that Trump might not try any or all of the things you mention (or even more sinister actions) to stay in power but citing FDR as some kind of precedent is ahistorical nonsense. Trump would have to invent new ways to sh!t on the Constitution and destroy this country, which he has already demonstrated his willingness and ability to do. It won’t have anything to do with FDR.
