I'm simply stating the argument his supporters are making. Their argument, and I think it is a weak one, is that the 22nd amendment only prevents him from being elected President, not that it makes him ineligible. They will argue he meets all the eligibility requirements in the Constitution, so therefore he can be elected VP and assume the Presidency if the President resigns or dies. So it could be up to the courts to decide. I think itis a weak argumnent, but I also think it is a stronger argument than the case for Presidential immunity, and we all know what happened there.
