should have been done under congressional authorization. That house is ours and the congress is our representatives. He can't just make any structural change to it willy nilly without consulting us, the people first. If we don't think the white house should have a ballroom than the white house does not have a ballroom. Period.

But who's going to assert that? The utter lack of any care by congressional Republicans is mind-boggling. The Democrats being quiet about this is also unbelievable.
