for a boycott the world cup unless FIFA moves the games taking place in the US to Mexico and Canada, who are already co-hosts. I'm sure they can work with that spike in the load even if the prep window is short. Mexico has hosted the world cup twice before. They should be able to pull that off, and Canada can pitch on more than they are now.
Probably the same thing with the LA Olympics as well, though this being only in LA, the state of CA may have some ability to protect the athletes and the fans.
