I've thought the same thing. Not that it would actually happen, but you KNOW that guy is thinking to himself that he'll get his revenge like that. I've been waiting for him to make the public declaration that he's already been promised the position by his MAGAt handlers/overlords.
You can just FEEL the grotesque need to become a nazi camp guard. My sincere hope for him is bleach enema when the 1/3 Reich (stolen from the internet) implodes.
