There is apparently a Russ Smith from California who has a long criminal record so quite often I get pulled aside at airports they go over my passport ask a few questions and then let me go. At least 3 times I've been told someone with my name is why I get stopped. It always strikes me as odd they have my passport it has my social security # on it so why does the name trigger it shouldn't the SS number be enough to differentiate?
I have a similar thing with a David Smith I get calls from collection agencies all the time on him. I've literally got like 20 of them blocked and I still get calls, somehow they just can't tell I'm not him and I'm not related to him
