Georgia has decided to cut the gas tax for 30 days, 33 cents per gallon cheaper. In an amazing coincidence they will be voting soon. Several other states the GOP thinks they have a chance to win are about to do the same thing or already have.
That big steel deal Trump announced yesterday is also in the news. Trump himself is to blame he called out at the announcement that no other administration would have done the deal but he did. Why? Because the company, an Indian one, hired Trump adviser Jason Miller and paid him 250K to help them get a deal with Trump.
The NY Times has a big article on it and calls it a "monumental scandal", Miller was taking money from both the Trump admin and the Indian company to get the deal. US taxpayers will pay about 10 billion of the 15 billion cost. Trump estimated the deal would add 95 billion to the US economy starting in 2030, others say not even half that and they're way overestimating the jobs.
