We've had to do it with a few pets over the years. One of times was awful though. This was only about 4 years ago, we had a cockerspaniel that was a great, great dog. I took her in the room with the vet and the first shot didn't work for some reason. We had been going to that vet for years and I just looked at her and said you gotta be kidding me. Thank God the second one worked and the whole thing took about 60 seconds, but it was brutal, probably the second worst minute of my whole life. Brutal...
