Exactly how I feel. That's why, for 25 years, I was 100% anti-death penalty, no exceptions.
Then it became apparent to me that in the age of the internet that one person's reach could still be global regardless of whether they were imprisoned or not.
The only just sentence for a person as evil as Adolf Hitler would be the death penalty, given how much evil his continued existence could do. If left alive, factions still loyal to his evil might try to break him out, putting others at risk of injury or death, or a corrupt politician could pardon him, etc. I know, I know...no one would ever pardon a murderous felon. But you'd be surprised...
