The DOJ under Trump has been meeting with a far right former Nixon aide Geoff Sheppard who insists Nixon was rairoaded and was innocent. And Trump is listening as is Kash Patel.
Do they believe Sheppard? No, but they're trying to rewrite history to make Trump the victim in his own cases and part of that is apparently rewriting much older history and suggesting the FBI has a history of railroading Republicans
