Makes much more sense to wait for game #3 for Yama. He's the best Dodger pitcher on the road and why waste him against the Braves bullpen game while he can neutralize Sale. Say he pitched yesterday and the Dodgers won. Then you have Snell vs Sale and they probably lose.
The Dodgers weren't going to win scoring 2 runs with anyone pitching anyway unless his name starts with "K" and ends with "X".
