The incumbent is Republican Diane Dixon, who is not running for re-election.
The district covers Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Aliso Viejo, Newport Beach, and parts of Huntington Beach and Seal Beach
Kluwe's main opponent is Republican Gracey Van Der Mark, part of the MAGA cabal that has been running the City of Huntington Beach. She has publicly flirted with racism, islamophobia, and anti-semitism - the MAGA Triple Crown. I'm close to some people who know her personally and find her odious.
I hope Kluwe pulls a lot of votes from the southern part of the district, as I fear the HB area will probably go for Van Der Mark.
