That's why a lot of injection executions are botched. Also, I've read the states have a tuff time getting the kill meds because of stuff. As far as the guillotine, there is some evidence that the brain is still processing even after a beheading. Like smiles, winks and one cheek turning red after it was slapped.
I'm against it but it is not something I would ever protest over.
