So much of it is Trump supporters don't read so they don't know things
I have a woman on Next Door telling me right now that green card holders are not allowed to collect social security or medicare and if they are it's "fraud". It's completely legal green card holders are Legal permanent residents. But the Trump admin is using a rule illegally to then deny green card renewals for those getting medicare and are attempting to do the same thing for those getting social security.
It was why we were so concerned my dads green card would not be renewed. Someone in my family by marriage his grandmother had her green card denied and she's being told to go back to Venezuela because she was getting Medicaid.
But Trump supporters literally believe it's fraud, they don't think it should be legal so even though it is, they are fine with denying it and deporting them.
