The "glitch" that prevented 600K voters from being registered many since last October, was miraculously cleared after Dem lawsuits reached the high courts and Texas had to admit in court that DPS was somehow not updating voter registration for people who had checked the box to register on the DMV site.
To give you an idea if this was accidental or not at least 75K of the 600K was in blue Harris County alone
League of women voters and others sued the state to make sure voters who checked to be registered but weren't would be allowed to cast provisional ballots, the texas GOP sued to block them saying if they aren't registered they can't vote provisional. So yes, it was intentional
