Democracy Docket via FOIA filings got access to proof that the Trump admin hatched a plan months ago to have ICE and DHS attempt to infiltrate Democrat groups that helped organize for the midterms including helping drives to legally register voters.
What is funny is per Marc Elias their own documentation proves they found absolutely no evidence of any wrongdoing but they were continuing to try and infiltrate. Elias said it appears very strongly likely this is the Russ Vought involvement that Trump mentioned in passing a week or two ago when he said Vought would be very important in the near future in the elections
Elias also said very clearly if the Dems take the midterms this is the kind of thing that has to be acted on in Congress. It's 100% illegal and while Trump may have immunity the people that followed this illegal scheme don't.
