The right preaches “smaller government” so they cut 100,000 federal employees who are by and large experienced and very capable people in their fields, and then spend 10x as much for private companies with conflicting incentives and a transitory underpaid work force to perform the same function, only not as well or as consistently. But the donors and courtiers who own the privatized business get their snouts in the trough.
