We money earned from capital at lower rates than labor. Young working people are taxed heavily, whild old folks living off their investments are not.

Meanwhile, there are loads of tax breaks for home owners, which are heavily older people.

Then old folks get Medicare and Social Security, which tend to pay out a lot more than we paid into it.

Our whole system is a transfer of wealth from the young to the old.
