Even without Reagan globally, wages have not kept up with production. It doesn't matter whether it is Republican or Dem.

The amount of work you need to do to make the same amount of money continues to grow each year. If you work with technology where the computer or the software get faster, that is possible but you can't drive a forklift faster.

I don't think Regan helped but even without trickle-down economics, every economy is seeing this same trend whether you are talking about the UK, Germany, Korea, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, China, etc.

As individuals become more productive due to automation, there are fewer middle-class jobs. The Unabomber was correct. It's something we see globally that has been a trend since the mid-1970s in the US.

If you look at the production vs wages curve, there is no change between GOP or Dem administrations. It is linear as it is in every modern country in the world.
