UCF opened with a pair of hits off Tinsley - not big hits but hits nonetheless. {censored]! Tinsley bounced a pitch, Lefty grabbed it and threw to second but the throw went through two potential receivers into center field - one run scored, other runner went from first to third. One in, one on third, no one out. Come on, Taylor, bear down now. (lafong maybe not quite as happy north of me up in Colorado) Foul ball down the left field line. Caught for first out of the inning but runner tagged and scored. Now 6-3.UCLA. (Nothing is easy today). Another K for Tinsley. 2 outs. No one on. Base hit into right field. Runner on first now. Infield hit over second base. Runners on 1st and 2nd. Two out. 3-0 on the batter. This is one of those Taylor innings. Bases loaded after a walk. They didn't want to give that last hitter anything good - almost an intentional walk. Bases loaded for Yarnell. 1-2 the count. She has struck out twice already this game. Wasted one high and away. (a bit higher and more away than they wanted, I think. Fouled next pitch off. Full count now. Bases still loaded. She hit it out of the park - but foul. Phew.
