Neither team could put the ball in the goal. Maryland should have scored 4 or 5, though. Went 1-0 down inside the first 5 minutes with a ball in behind the backline (that was a bit of a theme) before leveling with a great finsih off a Terps turnover in midfield. Much harder for UCLA after the red card after 30 minutes but against the run of play, we scored from a corner with about 30 minutes left to go 2-1 up. A goalkeeper error gifted Maryland a equalizer. Really poor game management..the players will be really disappointed they let that one slip. Bruins lucky to escape with a draw, as Maryland was all over us until the final whistle. All in all, not a bad point. But it could have been so much more.
