0-0 at the break, so there was definitely an emphasis placed on taking more shots in the halftime teamtalk.
Still didn't look like scoring until Croone took on her defender in the box, some good footwork putting the defender on her heels and forcing her to make a lunging challenge. The referee didn't give it originally (though it was clear) but awarded the penalty on video review. Croone put it away confidently and Bruins saw out the final 1:30 comfortably.
Creating clear scoring opportunities is still a struggle for the Bruins. We don't really have any physicality up front and we're a bit too reliant on 1v1 attacking.
We've eked out a few wins that could have gone either way. I'll take it, obviously, but is it sustainable?
