the first of course is "money" - the second would be "security" (meaning job security). No idea of his security at SC - nor really any idea if he's actually interested in the SMU job or if perhaps his agent isn't fanning the flames as a negotiating tactic with his current employer or just to boost their client's image nationally but SMU has a very deep pocketed and avid fan base and could probably offer a lot of money and a less costly situation in which to live and spend the money. SC is after all still in Los Angeles with UCLA.
As to SMU and the ACC - like California and Stanford - SC's potential travel in the B1g should rival that of SMU to the ACC
