I don't know why this came into my head, but I'm trying to remember the circumstances around this.
There was a kid who either was heavily recruited by UCLA and thought to be a lock, or had committed to UCLA, or was actually on the Bruins and ended up at an Ivy League school - I'm pretty sure it was Princeton. I believe the kid was a local Southern California kid and I believe this took place sometime in the 90's.
Anyone remember the kid's name, what were the circumstances, and how did it all end up for the kid?
