Three players scored more points in that game, all in double figures, than they scored in any game during the season and didn't even come close. A fourth tied his total in one game and didn't come close again. So if he had to see more of them, it didn't help their case even though they played well. He probably puts more weight on practices. Playing against inferior competition isn't a good way to evaluate a player.
