in the first few possessions.

#1, 1:41 to 2:26, UCLA works the ball around the perimeter. Daily eventually passed into Bilodeau who passes back out to Andrews, who passes to an open Clark near the corner, but Clark gets fouled. Andrews inbounds the ball and it never comes back to him before Bilodeau scores.

#2, 2:46 to 2:59, Dailey steals the ball and drives the length of the court, then passes out to an open Andrews at the 3-point line. Andrews shoots without hesitation and misses, but Dailey puts in the rebound for 2 points.

#3, 3:12 to 3:14, Kobe Johnson pokes the ball away from CSULA. Andrews picks it up and immediately passes to a streaking Dailey for a dunk. Johnson started it and Dailey finished it, but without Andrews, nothing happens.

#4, 4:31 to 4:40, Clark rebounds CSULA miss and immediately passes to Andrews, who quickly dribbles to half-court, then passes to an opend Dailey, who passes to Johnson in the corner for an open 3. Hockey assist.

#5, 5:19 to 5:44, Andrews takes the inbound pass after Bilodeau draws a charge. Once in the front court, Andrews passes the ball to Clark to initiate the play. The ball never comes back to Andrews before Bilodeau scores in the paint.

#6, 6:02 to 6:16, CSULA finally scores. Andrews receives the inbound pass, and quickly passes it upcourt to Clark, who makes the entry pass to Bilodeua, who is triple teamed and passes the ball back out to Andrews at the top of the key. He drives to the hoop but misses the layup. CSULA gets the rebound.

Dylan exhibits no hesitaion or unsuredness or lack of assertion in these plays. The offense seems clearly designed for Bilodeau to be the first threat, which is probably as it should be. Right now, he's the most offensively talented player on the team. He either scores or gets the ball to the open man. That's mitigating factor #1.

Mitigating factor #2 is there are three assist makers in the starting lineup; Andrews, Clark and Johnson. Johnson may be the best overall player on the team, so it's going to take the three of them a while to sort out and fine tune their various roles, but I don't see any indication that Dylan has regressed to the beginning of last season.

Sorry to be so long winded. Here's the video so you don't have to look for it if you want to watch again.
