There are 9 teams (half the league) with 4 or 5 league losses. That means that half the league consists of teams that are around 50-50. It also means that A LOT of games are tossups, or close to it.
And as Minnesota has shown recently, there are no easy games.
I think Michigan State and Purdue are pretty safe near the top of the league standings. Washington sees safely near the bottom even with Kepnang back, because they still can't score.
Everything else in the middle seems up for grabs.
About Michigan State: They are not as good as their record indicates. They haven't played the toughest Big Ten schedule, and the only ranked conference team they played was Illinois. In that game Illinois' best player, Jakucionis, played 9 minutes because of foul trouble and the Spartans only won by 2.
Their upcoming schedule is tougher and KenPom predicts they will end up with 5 conference losses.
