but I can't see them going 7-5 in their final 12 Big 10 games. Maybe 9-3 or worst case 8-4. In their away games, Illinois, Michigan and Maryland may be the toughest games for them and at home, probably Purdue and Wisconsin. But I doubt they would lose all 5 of those games as KenPom suggests. But I'm just guessing though.
They do play at both USC (1 Feb) and UCLA (4 Feb), but I would be surprised if either win as the matchups for both USC and UCLA aren't good. But again, on the road, anything could still happen. I would love to see the Bruins take them down but I believe they would have to play a super game to do it. You know how Michigan handled the Bruins at Pauley though and MSU, IMO, is the better team with more overall size and depth than Mich and with better and more disciplined guard play. MSU's one weakness though is their poor 3 point average of below 30% as a team. Excellent FT shooting team though at 81%.
