Among the teams ahead of us, Memphis, Clemson, and Louisville compete in conferences that are either weaker or experiencing down years. These three teams are likely to remain in the mix. Meanwhile, Missouri and Ole Miss play in what is considered the toughest conference in college basketball. In the Big Ten, Michigan, and Illinois are set to face challenging matchups in the second half of the season, while Maryland—just behind us on the list—seems to have already navigated the toughest part of its schedule.
Ultimately, the Bruins just need to keep winning, but there's definitely an opportunity to move up in that list.
