It's surprisingly common for FT % to go down from HS to college.
Arguments given include larger gyms with poorer backgrounds, more intense games wearing on the player, and other stuff I don't remember.
traprh, do you have some ideas on why FT % commonly goes down from HS to college, despite the simple thinking that with more experience it goes up?
The one that always mystified me is why Tech FTs often have lower %. I had trouble buying the "It's hard to shoot them with no players on the line" .. I mean don't we practice FTs with no one there?
