My wife and I had our ups and downs with Michigan, that's for sure but those two 7 footers in the lineup sure did help ease the sometimes pains we had over the season. I expect them to lose to Auburn though, but looking at the big picture of things, it has been more than we expected.
With the Bruins, I agree that this second game draw was a terrible match up for the Bruins. A couple of earlier potential wins that ended up losses hurt and probably got us to that 7 seed. With a more favorable match up, I agree that Sweet 16 was probably this teams limit.
As far as the Bruin's season, I'm not totally dissatisfied. There were some excellent wins against good teams and some disappointing losses. But overall, not a terrible season. Sure, I would have liked to seen them advance farther than they did but it just wasn't in the books. So on to next season and hopefully better overall results--with some help from the portal in upgrading their talent. No doubt "some" existing players will improve and "some" may not. But with a few studs from the portal, that should compensate.
