one of my favorite all time turnarounds emerging halfway into his senior year.
Agree on players - if Mack has a mindset that can incorporate looking to create for others he could be very good next season (if not, if his assertiveness is mostly stubbornness, then I'd wish him the best and move on from him - his choice: remake his game or not.) Dylan is a solid defender who has shown offense in the past but his confidence appears shot and he also is prone to occasional complete lapses of focus. Again, it's up to him - does he have the confidence, the energy and the drive to renew his focus for next year? If he does, he could be terrific; if not, he could well be a this season re-do.
Brandon Williams is a really tough dude. he showed tons of fire his freshman year, playing inside against much taller players. Very admirable. But the kid's a wing, not a post or a PF, a wing. Losing Kobe and Lazar, is Brandon a contributor - at WING - on a competitive top level team?
Some interesting and difficult decisions upcoming and Cronin has essentially a day or two to make them. And to contact the key donors whose help may be required to bring in the new talent several have called for. Going to be a really important next few days and weeks with next year's ceiling hanging in the balance
