Far fetched and a huge unknown are not equal.

All I'm saying is that it appears that some of the Bruins' lofty expectations for next season are based on unanswered questions (and there are a lot of them IMO) being positively answered. I hope that turns out to be the case, but at this time no one knows if that is indeed going to be the case.

From my perspective right now what the Bruins have is 3 guys who are pretty much known quantities as to their position/role and how they will, to some degree, perform and produce. Those three are Dent, Clark, and Bilodeau. An expected improvement, of sorts, wouldn't be out of line for all three, but if Bilodeau again is forced to play the 5 we know he has liabilities there. On the plus side of that scenario, that would mean Dailey would be at the 4 and is a known quantity at that position. There's good and bad in that scenario.

Moving forward, Dailey, although a known quantity as mostly a 4, is an unknown, again to some degree, as to how he will function and produce as a full time 3. Everybody else, IMO and to various levels and degrees, is an unknown. Hardly a basis for lofty predictions IMO. Unfortunately there are individuals who will take those predictions as some sort of a given, and if those expectations aren't met will find fault and a need blame someone (usually the coach) when in reality the blame is mostly on them for believing these mostly uninformed or misinformed prognostications.
