He is going to be trying different lineups, and everyone on the roster will play. But he will also be trying to win the game. I suspect Cronin will do the same.
I have watched part of Minnesota's "scrimmage" from last night, and I think the word "scrimmage" gives the wrong idea. These are real games with refs and fans, and the players are playing hard and diving for loose balls. Those are habits you need to foster.
Also, everyone has a lot of new players. It is important that the main rotation needs to get experience together.
These are pre-season games, and they are real games. The competitive juices of the players and coaches tend to take over. For the first 30 minutes, I suspect there will be a lot of experimentation, but I think the last 10 minutes will be going all-out for the win.
