Yeah, I agree. The biggest positive for me is that we’ve seen real improvement on the defensive end over the last two games. They still haven’t been able to sustain it for long stretches, but in both games there were periods of true lockdown defense. Yesterday, even Bilodeau contributed on that end.
I know the board is down on Booker, but you could tell how disappointed he was when he got pulled. When he came back in, he had a tremendous rebound in his hands—unfortunately, he couldn't secure it, and it slipped out of bounds. Still, it felt like he re-entered the game with a clear purpose. I hope the coaching staff takes note of that play and points to it as the standard of effort they’re looking for. I found it encouraging.
