I know you know that I do eye-rolls at some of the computer modelings you integrate into your assessments.
I'm too used to the black box dynamics the NCAA Selection Committee throws down on virtually every Selection Sunday, not to mention that the stat jockeys you place your unerring faith in are dialing for dollars by claiming they have built a better mouse trap.
Switching gears, one area where you and I do agree (among many), is you can toss a lot of these metrics onto that trash-laden $cum campus, as is so typical of rivalry matchups. Sadly, that phenomenon has played out with CMC, who has suffered a 5-7 record against a clearly inferior $cum hoops program in the Mick's 6 UCLA seasons coming into these next 2 head-to-head matchups.
To better reflect my feelings, if a $cum anything-team was playing North Korea in an anything-matchup, I'm right there at center court or midfield, screaming:
