I can't tell you how many times I have written a preview and the game went completely differently. Games go true to form more often than not, but the unlikely happens. The 18% three-point shooter can make 5 straight.
Three-point shooting is completely nuts. It's such a high-variance thing. We can go 1 for 17 or 12 for 21.
We should beat SC. I have little doubt that we would win a 7-game series. But 16 seeds beat #1 seeds.
Stats aren't perfect, but they are better than whatever is second best.
