Some coaches like everyone going for rebounds on the defensive boards. Others, like myself, prefer to always maintain floor balance (always have at least one guy staying back both on offensive and defensive boards - on offensive boards I preferred to never let anyone get behind my back guy no matter how far down the court they may go). I would say that it's pretty much universal to always have at least one guy stay back on the offensive boards. For me the only time I wanted everyone to crash the offensive boards is when it was down to the wire and we were trailing desperately.
With this team, Dent is average 2.6 rpg so he's obviously not staying back all the time. Contrast that to Booker who is averaging 3.6 rpg. I would say Dent is doing his part relatively speaking.
But yeah, it remains that this team is a bad rebounding team, so maybe it's fair to say that everybody isn't doing enough.
