Betts is playing the best basketball of her career in this tournament, averaging 24 points, 8.5 boards, and 3.5 assists per game.
Rice is one of the hardest working players in basketball, averaging 14 points herself in the tournament, and 5 rebounds and 3 assists.
Jaquez has an unmatched competitive spirit that belies her "awe-shucks" attitude in interviews. She won't back down from anyone or anything, and she won't let her teammates back down either.
Leger-Walker was playing only her 7th game after missing 21 months due to injury. She's averaging 7 assists per game in the tournament, and that ain't chopped Hāngī.
Kneepkins has become a legit 2-way player, and if the rims are tight, or her shot is off, she just steps in and buries that buttery mid-range shot.
I honestly don't think Texas can match the Bruins player for player for 40 minutes, and even if they can, there's...
Dugalić, the Serbian assassin, with ice water in her veins, who will do anything, everything, and whatever it takes to win. She's almost impossible to defend when she's on the floor with Lauren.
And of course, Lauren's baby sister, Sienna, who couldn't play against Texas due to injury, but has really grown up in the last month, outscoring her sister against Iowa, and getter her first doubledouble against Cal Baptist.
The Texas players have talked about how they wanted to become a sisterhood after their loss to Vanderbilt in February, but these Bruins were a sisterhood well before the season began.
I believe in them. I believe they will win.
GO BRUINS!!!!
