My wife and I are both primarily men's college basketball fans but don't follow college football of any team. Wife is a big NFL fan though and a LA RAM fan. Don't know much about what went on in football at Michigan.
As far as BRO goes, I used to be a member for a couple of years but cancelled because of things I didn't care for including the tone of the forum and some of the posters on it. Never posted there though. I decided I would rather would spend my spare time on the Bruinzone.
We are all different though with different backgrounds and naturally have a variety of differing opinions. That's just the way it goes on internet forums and I have no problem with that. And to be a bit clearer with my opinion, I'm not saying the rumor "can't be true" but saying that at this point in time, I haven't been able to uncover any factual evidence that it "is true". In my way of thinking, it's still just a rumor started by someone until some facts surface that supports the rumor.
Note: That BRO "Wouldn't it be surprising" comment doesn't tell me a lot other that it was a rumor that someone started. I'm curious who actually started the rumor? I've never read or heard of any comments by Cronin on the subject though. If it came from him, perhaps there is something to it. However, in both of my careers in the Air Force and in Aerospace Engineering, I've always been one to give an individual the benefit of the doubt and have never and will never try to discredit or incriminate an individual based purely on a rumor. But that's just me.
