apparently we're still trying for Blackwell but he's the #2 rated prospect in the portal and prices for the top 25 or so transfer portal prospects are reported to have increased 30-40% again over last year. I'm worried if we land Blackwell or another in his price range, we won't be able to afford a center who can do what we need our center to do or a strong wing. But Cronin does appear to be continuing to try with strong guards anyway - trying to solve that one first because it's going to set the cash limits for what we can do to fill out the rest of the roster. With players still entering the portal and competition high for key players, all we can do is wait to see when things are actually happening.
I expect the key players for us will happen quickly once that guard we're after happens.
