Most very good to great college teams have excellent guards

That is the key for many if not most college teams. It would be nice for the Bruins to have two excellent starting guards, with either who can play the point at a reasonable level. That's why Clark was such a valuable asset. Hated to lose him. In addition, a decent third guard coming in off of the bench plus another maybe not so high end, for emergencies.(4 guards--we already have Freeny and Perry, just need 2 more good ones). Either Blackwell or Diallo would be good, but my first choice would be Blackwell--not sure we can get him though based on internet info out there.

And after the guard situation is resolved, IMO, the next priority should be a starting and impactful big center--at least 6'11 to 7'+ and hopefully with some good athleticism and some muscle on his bones. Need that type of muscle to bang with the big boys of the Big 10. And as you say a good wing/mini PF would be a good get. Maybe that California youngster from Duke that the Bruins and Gonzaga fought over before he elected to go to Duke.
