So I suffered through the Walt Hazzard era that followed the Larry Farmer era. Seven seasons between the two, two NCAA appearances and two second-round losses. Seven seasons for Cronin, five NCAA appearances, two sweet 16, one Final Four, and two second-round losses. Better by far than Farmer and Hazzard. Also better than Alford.
