Howland got to the three straight FFs, which only Wooden had done. And Alford, while not a great Xs and Os guy, recruited very well at UCLA. He built the roster that got to our last FF. Cronin just stood on the sidelines and shouted like a degenerate maniac.

Cronin is the worst post-Wooden coach, and it isn’t even close.
