Alford recruited well but didn't do much with those players. At least Cronin did.

Cronin may not be the best coach out there. He may or may not be the coach we need. Fine. But is he the worst post-Wooden coach? No way, not even by a long shot. I reject outright any claim that says Cronin is worse than Lavin and Alford. Not even on his worst year.
