Our new portal acquisitions have one thing in common.

They are all athletic. Whatever else happens, we should be a much more athletic team than last season, and that means we have a chance to be a much better defensive team.

On difference this portal season is we have Max Feldman, our hoops GM. If he has been doing his job, all through the season he has been checking out and evaluating possible transfers. That means we should have started the process further along when the portal opened.

We will see if that pays dividends.
