I don't recall Lauren from that year but her lack of minutes are not necessarily because of her lack of ability at that stage of her career. Brink was P12 player of the year as a sophomore and was WCBA Defensive POY as a junior (Lauren's frosh year). Brink was again P12 POY as a senior before she was taken #2 in the WNBA draft. She was obviously going to play the vast majority of the time as a senior so Lauren's transfer made sense for her development as a player.
