From year one to year two, in the same minutes played, Bona's shooting percentage dropped significantly, while his turnover rate and made a big jump and he fouled a slightly higher clip. The only thing he really improved upon was his free throw percentage, but from where he started, it could only go up.
I don't know how you can really make an argument that Bailey improved under Cronin, he started slow due to both Cronin being Cronin and injuries, and then came on strong at the end of the season which was really more a product of him electing to find offense outside of the system because he knew he was leaving and wanted to showcase his skills for NBA scouts than anything that can really be attributed to Cronin. And it's worth remembering that he came in as an expected lottery pick and after a year under Cronin he ended up getting picked in the middle of the second round.
