There is nothing wrong with Cronin's offensive coaching.

When Cronin had good offensive players his team ranked very high in KenPom Offensive efficiency ranking #11, #12 and #21. This past season we were #28, higher than UConn, Tennessee, Gonzaga, and St. John's to name a few. Who were their coaches?

So do you have our stats on shot clock violations? Didn't think so. The idea is to get the maximum number of points per possession whether it takes 15 seconds or 25 seconds. That's what offensive efficiency is about. Pace of play is not significantly correlated with offensive efficiency in college basketball. The best offenses can operate effectively at slow, fast, or average tempos as long as their shot selection and execution are sound.

If our offense bores you, then go find something else to watch.
