For a weirdo moron.
• 2017–18 Cincinnati Bearcats: Under Cronin, Cincinnati entered the season ranked No. 12 in the preseason Associated Press (AP) poll. They went 31–5, won the AAC regular season and tournament titles, and finished the year ranked No. 6 in the final AP poll.
• 2013–14 Cincinnati Bearcats: The Bearcats began the year completely unranked in the preseason AP poll. They put together a 27–7 season and finished ranked No. 15 in the nation.
• 2020–21 UCLA Bruins: In his second year with UCLA, Cronin's squad started at No. 22 in the preseason AP poll. While the final AP poll is released before the NCAA tournament, they made a historic run from the First Four to the Final Four, leading them to finish No. 7 in the final postseason Coaches Poll.
